Workplace Stress and Burnout

You might dread opening your inbox, feel responsible for everything or find it hard to switch off after work. Conflict, uncertainty, workload or a mismatch between your values and your role can leave you worn down.

Boundaries and decisions at work

We can separate what is yours to manage from what belongs to an employer or colleague. Our conversations might include boundaries, confidence in difficult conversations, the impact of work on home life and what you need when considering a change.

Counselling cannot resolve an organisation’s problems for you. It can help you reflect on their impact and consider choices without pressure to stay, leave or make an immediate decision.

When switching off feels difficult

You may find yourself replaying a meeting, feeling responsible for unfinished work or saying yes when your capacity is already stretched. We can explore your values, the expectations placed on you and the emotional impact of feeling unsupported.

Finding words for what you need

Sessions can offer space to prepare for a difficult conversation, practise expressing a boundary or untangle what is within your control. If disability, chronic illness or neurodivergence affects work, we can explore that context alongside the practical and emotional demands you face.
